I think I got it! I mean, the pattern for my shawl. It's not an original design. It's one of Mary Konior's motif in the book "Tatting with Visual Patterns", called "Carnival". It's made in one round and doesn't have a lot of picots. Two of the characteristics I was looking for in a pattern for the shawl. I'm not a picot person and I think that something that is going to be wear a lot will not need decorative picots by the tons. The more the picots the bigger the nightmare at washing/ironing time!
