What I love about the web is the opportunity to share my thoughts with others. But I also like to hear what others think, and to exchange ideas.
On this page, I'll share some of the comments I've received in my guestbook and via e-mail. Where appropriate, I'll include a link to the original log entry or essay that inspired the comment. In some cases, I also may also respond to the comments.
Here are some of the comments I have receive about my books.
Hi Everyone!
I wanted to write a quick note and tell you about a new book I received in today's mail. It is by Wally Sosa, and called "Dreamy Winter." It's a lovely new little book, full of beautiful snowflake motifs and delightful patterns!! I especially love the one on the cover, titled, "Lacey Snowflake." It is just beautiful, but so are all the others. Among the many patterns is a really cool "fluffy" snowflake, an adorable dimpled heart snowflake, a dreamcatcher design with a button center, and a really cute little pattern called "Hopie's Snowflake" made with tiny little heart buttons. The entire book is really a gem, and Wally (if you are on this list), thank you so much! I love it, and thanks for shipping it out so incredibly quickly! I'm always eager when I order a new book for it to arrive!! N N
Hi Wally,
Your book arrived and it is terrific, wonderful, fantastic! I love all the patterns, and that is rare; usually I will get a book and only think of tatting a few things, but I know I will do many from your book.
I love the fact that this is not just a re-hash of typical snowflakes, but the designs are very original. I know Hope Green so Hopies' snowflake is special. And I got a kick out of the name you gave the Linkin snowflake. That's one of my son's favorite groups. E L
